Mythological Legend — The Rise and Fall of Vajrasura

In the ancient past, a mighty demon named Rudra had a ferocious son—Vajrasura.
Strong, arrogant, and fueled by demonic ambition, Vajrasura performed intense penance and attained extraordinary powers. Instead of protecting the world, he used this power to terrorize it.

Terrified and helpless, the Devas prayed to the divine forces for liberation.

From that ritual emerged a radiant young girl. Upon learning her purpose—to destroy Vajrasura—she laughed, and from her laughter countless warrior goddesses emerged.

A destructive battle raged between these divine maidens and Vajrasura.
But the demon’s tamasic energy grew stronger, and soon the goddesses felt overwhelmed.

Vajrasura then unleashed a dark illusion, engulfing the sky in a blanket of shadows.

The goddesses fled toward Mahakal Van, with Vajrasura in pursuit.

The Divine Intervention — Shiva Plays the Damru

Hearing the desperate plea from the Devas through Narada Muni,
Lord Shiva manifested in His fierce Uttam Bhairav form within Mahakal Van.

Holding the Damru, the cosmic instrument of vibration, Shiva produced a thunderous sound—
