2. Carry your own Rajasthani snacks on the train. The pantry car food is average. Pack mirchi vada, samosa, pyaz kachori from Jodhpur – they stay fresh for 6-8 hours. Also carry chai in a flask if you are a tea person – train chai is not great.

3. If taking the bus, buy the ticket from the RSRTC counter directly – not online. Online portals add ₹70-₹100 as "convenience fee" for no real convenience.
